The purpose of Reach for Home is to provide opportunities and support for Participants to work toward self-sufficiency, independence and permanent housing. Partnering with numerous organizations, we help people in North Sonoma County who are struggling with or at risk of losing housing.

Your donations can help homeless families return to permanent housing and self-sufficiency. Donation dollars allow us to provide much-needed access to mental health, medical services, and supplies for homeless individuals. Volunteer
Our volunteer opportunities range from donation drive management, to art class assistance, to website content contributions. Reach for Home could not service the homeless in our community without help from our incredible volunteers. Learn about becoming a volunteer.

Our Emergency Healthcare Fund is already hard at work in our community! Thanks to your donations, we’re able to support Reach for Home’s transportation of food to North Bay homeless encampments. COVID-19 and the Shelter in Place have left our homeless community members more isolated and vulnerable. We are proud to partner with Reach For Home as they navigate this crisis.
Healdsburg Forever a regional affiliate has recently made emergency grants totaling $80,000 to six nonprofit organizations providing essential safety net services—food, shelter, and health care—to the most vulnerable people in Healdsburg and Geyserville.
Over the last twenty years, we’ve raised more than $26 million for front-line medical and dental providers, state-of-the-art medical technology, and evidence-based mental health services. These substantial investments have changed the face of healthcare in our community.

Two Sonoma County artists have each come up with a prototype for a micro-dwelling that shrinks the concept to a whole new dimension of minuteness.
Effective May 13, non-profit agency North Sonoma County Services will be known as Reach for Home as it ramps up fundraising to assist homeless individuals and families.
“Margaret is great for the organization now; a seasoned nonprofit executive with a finance background. All of the staff of Reach for Home is dedicated and doing the most they can with current resources. Hopefully, with more resources we can continue and expand the work,” Hanes said.
