The purpose of the Reach for Home Transitional Housing Program is to provide opportunities and support for Participants to work toward self-sufficiency, independence and permanent housing. Participants work with a Program Manager to help them access resources and services that will help them make necessary changes in their lives. Further, the Program offers Participants the opportunity to develop a good credit history and positive rental history, to gain self-confidence and to become self-sufficient.

Community Education

Community Education for the homeless in northern Sonoma County. Presentations about homelessness in our community to all students ranging from 1st to 12th grades.

The Reach for Home staff delivers presentations about homelessness in our community to all students ranging from 1st to 12th grades. Students are asked to create some form of artwork, either individually or as a group that depicts their understanding and response to the local homeless scenarios. The program culminates in an annual exhibition at The Paul Mahder Gallery, which brings together pieces created by the homeless in our weekly art session drop-ins, combined with those created by children responding to homelessness in our community.
